our lessons with Simon Hulme were interesting, going over cash flows, balance sheets and profit and loss statements were fun. we looked at the a fictional store called Carl’s Cafe and how his accounts needed to be fixed. this was a fun activity, as it put context to the work. normally we would be given accounts and were told to simply get the work done but the simple act of putting into context made the task more fun. learning accounts although may not help all of us it is still an essential skill to have.
Finance is one topic i still like learning, i keep going back to looking at balance sheets, profit and loss and cash flow.
